studio etiquette
Please be on time for class. We understand that sometimes late arrivals are unavoidable, but please do you best to be on your mat ready for class at start time so as to cut down on being a distraction to your fellow yogis.
Please do not bring your phone into the studio. In order to create a peaceful and distraction free environment for your practice, please silence your device and leave it in the cubbies outside of the studio.
Please do not wear your shoes into the studio. Please leave your shoes in the cubbies outside of the studio in order to keep our studio floors as clean as possible.
Please keep conversations to a minimum and with a low voice once inside the studio. Feel free to visit and socialize in the lobby/cubby area prior to class. Once inside the studio, please begin to practice quiet to get your body, mind, and spirit prepared for class.
Please stay present for the entire class. If you need to leave early, please try to do so prior to the final savasana so as minimize distractions for your fellow yogis.

FAQ
What should I wear to class? Wear clothing that you feel comfortable in and that you allow for free movement.
What should I bring to class? You will need to bring a mat and water. rooted. does have mats for rent and water for sale. We also have blocks and straps in studio for student use.
Where should I place my belongings? Cubbies are located directly outside of the studio entrance. Though the studio stays locked at all times, it is not recommended that you bring any valuables to class.
Where should I park/How do I enter? Parking is provided on the right side of the driveway near the road. Enter through the left garage door and enter the code at the door at the bottom of the stairs (code is provided via email after you sign up for class).
What if I'm a beginner/not flexible? All classes are beginner friendly and modifications are offered. Flexibility is not required to be a part of class. Everyone's bodies and practices are different, and we always honor you wherever you find yourself. This is a safe place to be rooted and to grow!
Can I shower after class? We do have a full bathroom with a shower. If more than one person is waiting for the shower, please be quick and allow for others to use the bathroom.
How do I book a class? You can book directly from the website, or click here. We do not have a mobile app at this time.
Can I bring a friend to class? Yes! Since rooted. YOGA STUDIO is attached to a private residence, we depend on word of mouth/invite only methods to build our yoga community. Once you create an account, on the website, you are given a referral code. Simply share this code with your friends and when they sign up, both you AND your friend will get $15 off your drop in rate or class pack price.
